Ladies and Gentleman, may I introduce you to Dreamsfear,
straight from Dublin Ireland! What's that? You want more? Fine, here it
is: This metal quartert consists of Cathal Rodgers on bass, Kieran Hynes on guitars, Colin Purcell on drums and Rob Buggle on vocals and keyboards. Now before I continue, let me ask, what the hell is a buggle? Anyone? Well, no matter. This band morphed through a variety of incarnations since their inception in 1992. It wasnt until 1997 that they took the shape that offers us this mini-cd. The disc itself came about due to their performance at the Metalfest '98 Abbeyleiux. Apparently someone at Ill-Omen liked them and they entered the studio. Thank you mystery A&R man. This debut consists of four songs, "Ruins," "Bleak Horizons," "As Darkness Falls" and Burning Bridges." As you can see, these are not happy Irishman. Good. If they were in a good mood they would suck. As it is they kick ass. Their moody creakings and groanings are a combination of Metallica's "Creeping Death" and Black Sabbath's "Changes." Check them out. For more information email them at dreamsfear@hotmail.com. Next |
